The second-hand marketplace Users Share Displeasure Over Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes failing to inform all users about the change.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Changes
Earlier, the measurements included one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
A different user, located in England, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
